“A new single flooded into the office today and it had me intrigued............... it’s called “Little Bit of You”, which I thought was great, been playing that all day today. I don’t know how we would categorise that, it’s really bad actually people in my position in this industry particularly, always want to categorise, its stereotypical blaw blaw blaw. “Now available is the new work by ex-Buckie songsmith, Colin Mackay. As you probably know, Colin records some of his songs every few years, normally working with record producer / engineer Jim Hunter, also formally of these parts. Their latest collaboration is the five track CD called “Handle with Care”. It shows that Colin hasn’t lost any of his class and that time has added a deeper sensitivity to his vocals. The title track is rumoured to be attracting interest from the record industry. It’s a very original slow song which I intend to showcase on Moray Firth Radio”. Jeff Jones DJ
